Are the patterns that helped you survive in the past keeping you from thriving in the now?

Hi, I’m Julia (they/them), a trauma and body-oriented therapist in Seattle, WA. I work primarily with LGBTQ+ individuals, couples and women working to process the trauma of being a human in this world and unlearn internalized oppressive beliefs.

When my counseling clients first come to see me, their self-love and acceptance is conditional. They base their self-worth on the state of their relationships, the size of their bodies, and unattainable, marginalizing standards. They find themselves in patterns of disordered eating, overworking and/or codependent relationships to cope with their pain.

They struggle to rest and relax. Letting go of perfection is terrifying, and asking for help or taking a day off from work causes overwhelm, stress and guilt. They struggle to feel like they have done enough and are good enough.

Like you, they’ve learned all of this from an unforgiving, oppressive and unwelcoming society.

You deserve to feel connected to and at ease in your body.

You deserve to feel confident in your intuition and ability to advocate for your wants and needs.

If you’d like to build a fulfilling and sustainable relationship with your Self, your body, and others, I’d love to help you get there.

Schedule a consultation today. You don’t have to do this work alone.
